General Prayer points:

Steve & Larisa have been challenged, encouraged, drawn and called… yes we have really faced some interesting times recently.  The result of all this is, as Paul said in Acts 20, we have a ‘compelling’ to move….  for Paul it was from the church in Ephesus to go back to Jerusalem.  For us it is the wrench away from our dear friends at Opengate to worship with Yapton Free Church.  It is a move of just 4 miles, but in our hearts it’s the biggest challenge we have yet faced.  At the moment need to remain in the same house… financially there is no way of moving (miracles accepted!)    So, this is a very new and exciting time.  We are trying to explain to everyone we meet how much we love the people of Opengate church… we do not go with any resentment or problems – rather it is with a desire for ongoing and deeper relationship between the churches that we go to serve in Yapton.   The church in Yapton is a small gathering led by Hugo Van Driel. Unlike Opengate, they do not have a wealth of talented musicians, preachers, pastors & teachers… and as such we know our own gifts will be used to the full.  We leave with love and we join with love….  we’ll let you know how it’s going!

Christina has completed her 3D design course with distinctions across the board!  After a wonderful 2 months in Sao Paulo, Brazil with finance Diego, Christina is returning to enter University!  Hang on, weren’t they getting married soon?  Well after this time together, they have decided on the more ordered route of saving and study before they tie the knot!  Christina has started at Arts University College Bournemouth (AUCB) studying BA(Hons) Architecture for the next 3 years.

Sophia loved the NGM boot camp this summer, Soul survivor was a hit too.  But that’s nothing to what’s coming up !!   PushMusic, the company she is recording with, has launched their totally new website featuring Soph as one of the artists www.pushcommunity.com and her music is now available on iTunes & Amazon….. and that’s not all… Soph is spending the next year with the NGM team  whilst keeping the recordings with Push Community ’on track’.
