Rogerio & Nivia were called from Brasil into the mission field of Italy. They began in the North of the country & in 2004 were called to pioneer a new work in a small town about 70km from Rome.They have been building many relationships with other churches and believers with a view to establishing the first bible based witness in the town. Rogerio has been distributing bibles and speaking to lots of people in the area and is establishing himself as the missionary in town!We are connected in the ‘Net’ with them via Opengate. |
| Silas and Elisete are based in Milan in the North of Italy. They have established a growing work in the city centre that reaches the local community and portugese speaking alike. Pr Silas was the main local organiser for Open Heart 2006 in Milan so I spent quite a lot of time with him in the preparation. As a result of our visit there has been real development in relationships between our churches . . . but we are sure there is a lot more to come. |  |
And finally, but definately not least, many of Larisa’s family are living in the Tuscany region . . around Pisa & Empoli. We have not yet been able to visit much, but Italy is very much on our heart and we often talk about what God has planned for us there. We don’t know when, but we are increasingly convinced that we will be spending lots of time there at some point in our ministry.
